This jig has a little larger and stronger hook than most finesse jigs that are on the market. It is a 4/0 Mustad ultra point hook with black nickel finish. The head has a baked on powder coat which makes a tough coating. Between 55 and 60 strands of silicone are used on each jig which causes the jig to fall slower and translates into more strikes. Most finesse jigs on the market use between 33 and 42 strands. Rattle collars are installed but rattles are not furnished.
